Tropical Pineapple Smoothie

pineapple smoothie

This tropical pineapple smoothie is filling and packed with vitamins and nutrients that provide many health benefits from the addition of pineapple.

Pineapple is a major source of bromelain enzymes, which have been shown to reduce inflammation and suppress the growth of some human cancer cells, as well as aiding in heart and circulatory problems. The pineapple core contains a higher concentration of bromelain, so make sure to include it in your smoothie.

Recipe:

2 scoops French Vanilla INVIGOR8 Superfood Shake
1 cup water, nonfat milk, unsweetened almond milk or rice milk
4 oz frozen pineapple chunks or fresh pineapple

Put all of the ingredients into the blender; blend for 30 seconds or until smooth. The more ice, the thicker it gets.
